electrical still unstable in island and make some electronics stuffs didn’t work properly but overall still good

Motorcycle rent doesn't good

After booking 4 nights at Kathy’s Place, we were contacted immediately by Bani. He managed the place during our stay. He is nice and friendly and helped us in various situations: finding a suitable ferry, picking us up from the port, organising our laundry, renting a scooter, booking a snorkelling and island hopping tour (cheapest price), giving us good recommendations in general and he even booked our bus ticket to another city with his credit card (we had problems with the booking and gave him cash in exchange). In total, the place was clean and comfortable. There was a living room with sofa and TV. The kitchen was equipped with a fridge, cooker, sink, many kitchen tools and a big table in the middle. Also there is a free water dispenser, coffee and tea. Everything collective. Our room was basic and clean. We got fresh towels and kind of a light with liquid against mosquitoes. The AC was good. The collective bath had a toilet with toilet paper, a sink, mirror and nice shower with much space and warm water. Shampoo was also given. Around Kathy’s Place there were a few cafés and lots of restaurants. The port was just 5 minutes away from our stay. Personally, I can also recommend you to browse through some books that are lying around the dining area. I borrowed the novel “The Beach” and had a great time reading it during the stay.

The pictures shown on Booking.com are not up to date anymore. It looks a little bit older and more dirty instead of super shiny. There are also not as many flowers as shown on the pictures. The bathroom has a strange smell. There are too many chemical products, that are supposed to smell good.

Comfy beds, good ac and hot shower. Nice kitchen for cooking and helpful staff. Also smart tv with Disney hotstar

Place was dirty. There was some mouse poop in the bathroom :o. The staff was completely careless, and no reaction. AC was not working, he told us a fixer will "maybe" come, but he never did. This place is a joke. Pay a bit more and go to a hotel with professionals.

The staff was very helpful. We got help with the ferry tickets, bus tickets, renting a scooter and tours. Good prices as well. Breakfast was nice. Nice room and bathroom with a separate shower. Would definitely recommend the place.

Location was good, right in the center of the town.
