The view from our room was lovely, we walked straight onto the beach from our door. We didn’t book breakfast, but we’re offered noodles and coffee in the morning which was nice. A short walk up the beach there are a few beach clubs which serve food and drinks. Bar mambo was our favourite. Lots of dive clubs here if you want.

Not the place for a lie in if you like one.

A budget bungalow right on the beach. This was our favourite place in Nusa Penida for the value. We loved the omelette (with veggies inside). There was hot water. We loved the easy access from the road. We loved the village vibe and roosters:) We left a UE boom in our room and they kept it safe for us. BEAUTIFUL water right outside

There was no sheet on our bed when we arrived but they brought a fitted sheet for us instead. Would be good to have more power points. The whatsapp communication was interesting:)

Staying here was an incredibly unique experience and I would highly recommend it. Liz, the hostess, was so kind and generous with her time, taking us on a tour of her garden and teaching us to cook. The home cooked food was amazing, and the accommodation is basic but very clean and comfortable. You wake up to the sounds of the jungle! Everything they do here supports the local communtiy as well, so it's a win- win!

It's a bit of the beaten track - not a negative but something to consider.

The fact that the room was just by the sea was incredible. Sleeping with the waves sound and waking up to that beautiful blue scenery was the big highlight of the stay. Besides that, the staff was just great. They picked me up from the port for free (that’s a first, here in Bali they charge you for everything they can), and all of them were very kind, friendly and caring.

They seem to be going under renovation, so there’s nothing besides your room and the sea, no other facility at all, not even a proper entrance. When I had to leave the property I walked through a construction site. There was no noise interfering during the evening though. Even though the bedroom was decent, the bathroom was a nightmare. No division on toilet/shower, the shower itself was bad, toilet seat broken, sink with rusty stains, air duct pure dust, towels with stains. And the room door didn’t lock (at least I couldn’t), so I was afraid anytime I was out. I think they should rethink if it’s not better to open the villa only when all of those bits are fixed and build. I can see how that place can potentially be great, but the way it is now is not proving the best experience and this will probably reflect in bad rates here.

NOTHING HORRIBLE PLACE

Absolutely horrendous. DO NOT STAY! It is a cheap accommodation but even so, it was dirty with stained walls and a smelly bathroom. We specifically booked it to have a sea view bungolow, but NOWHERE in the description it specified that there are two options: sea view, which is more expensive, and a garden view. We got the garden view with the information that the sea view is full for now. Needless to say, we stayed no more than 5 minutes. The room has no windows and a wooden door, so it's a dark cave with a horrible smell from the damp shower. The only thing I regret about leaving is not taking pictures. Just a friendlz advice. Always take pictures! So you can ask for a refund! We walked only about 30 min along the beach /road and found a much better place, for the same price. With much nicer sea access, sea view, and really clean room and bathroom and a nice breakfast.
