Rama Homestay

The staff was not the friendliest. The hygiene of the room was embarrassing, in the morning we found a big COCKROACH next to the bed. There was no hot water in the bathroom, also the light in the bathroom did not work

Location was excellence and Rama is such a good host.

Beach front property that can directly access your hired private boat for your water activities. The owner Rama is always available to ensure your accommodation on his property as well as your entire stay at Nusa Penida is well taken care of and totally satisfied. i.e. upon arrival he was able to call for a private boat for your water activities such as snorkeling without wasting any time at a reasonable but not too competitive price. Likewise, for touring around the island, Rama was able to provide a private driver (his son) to take you around worry free for ($$$). Daily breakfast was good and came with your stay. Lastly, Rama offered his son drove us back to the harbor free of charge which was very nice of him.

Facility including the toilet and shower can certainly use an upgrade. Toilet seat and cover were broken and detached, and shower pressure is extremely weak along with practicality little to none of any hot water available. The air conditioning was not working in one of the two rooms upon arrival, but Rama addressed this issue, and had someone fixed it immediately. The provided linen towels were old, thin, and yellow looking.

Brilliant location right on the sea front. Two buildings walk down on the beach was an amazing beach bar (Bar Mambo)

Bathroom could do with a bit of small refresh like a wall shower holder or new toilet seat

The location right on the beach is unbeatable. Good breakfast (there were three or four things to chose from such as omelette and panncakes). The owner was very service minded, picked me up for free from the port and made early breakfast for me when I was leaving at six in the morning.

The only down side is the noise from the roasters and the dogs in the area. The roaster next door disturbed my night sleep a few times :D so bring ear plugs if youre sensitive.

Very nice beach view. Nice bungalo and very friendly staff, shop in the same building.

WiFi was very poor, despite fact that box was by the wall.

The location and view from their rooms are incredible. The beach right outside the door is also stunning. The rooms were comfortable and both the bed and bathroom were clean. The staff was very nice and available, they helped us get a scooter to see the island and the free shuttle to the port was a great service. 100% would recommend.
