Great location with a nice panorama view over the lake. Breakfast was delicious.

The air conditioning did not work during our stay and there were 35 degrees during the day. The shower needs a little bit of attention as calcar accumulated.

Very nicely appointed, comfortable and cozy. Katerina was extremely helpful, gave us lots of tips on what to do. Really went the extra mile. Amazing view of the lake from my room. Nice breakfast included.

We travel a lot and have always used Booking.com to find our lodging. We’ve had many pleasant experiences in the places weve stayed over the years, but every so often there is one that shines above all others. Montana Lake View is one of those places. Katerina is your host, and she immediately makes you feel as if you’re part of the family. Not only is she a good host she’s a great cook as well, so be prepared for a wonderful breakfast with a view overlooking the lake. If you want help with planning your visit to the region Katerina is a good trip coordinator as well. If you carefully analyze the Booking.com reviews to find good places like we do…..look no further.

We stayed at Montana Lake View for 6 nights in October. Katerina is an incredibly hospitable and kind hostess who knows all there is to see in and around the region of Ioannina. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Every morning we received a delicious breakfast from Katerina (with a spectacular view of the lake and the island) and we would walk through our plans for the day. She always had some additional recommendations and was very helpful. The first night, she even drove us to the city centre so we could take a (€10) taxi back and have some drinks in Ioannina. She also arranged a guided hike with her husband Dimitri along the Aoos river to one of the monasteries near Konitsa, which was beautiful and not too hard. We can 110% recommend staying here!

There is little to no public transport that can take you into the city, so we did so by car. Ask the hostess Katerina if you need any help, she is the best.
