Pondok Rahayu Guest House

Location was perfect. Just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Nice and quiet. Grounds are well-kept and very pleasant. Room is of a decent size, bathroom is well-ventilated as partially open air. Breakfast was simple and good. Nice massage is available on a roof-top pavillion.

Located between the beach and the main street (where there are many restaurant options). A family-run inn with very kind hosts. Beautiful, serene garden. Free water refill for your flask. The host can arrange for transport and activities. The prices he quotes are better than most rates elsewhere, we appreciate his help especially in arranging transport to/from the airport.

I wasn't sure whether guests were allowed to use the fridge in the outdoor kitchen, I would have liked to stock up on cold drinks. It didn't bother me much as there are many cafes and shops nearby.

Perfect little guest house with nicely maintained grounds, cute fish pond and great size room. The bed was very comfy and especially for the price it was great to see the double mattress instead of two single pushed together. The air con worked fine, shower had hot water and little seating area in front was very welcome. Bathroom was outdoors adding to charm. Breakfast simple but tasty and well cooked. Buti, the host, organised a diving trip for us and altough I was a bit worried by not doing it via diving school, I can't say enough how amazing the diving instructor was, very patient, explained everything, made sure we are comfortable with what we are doing etc, amazing experience! And Dewi, the beautiful young girl working in guest house was one of the nicest people we have ever met, we wish you Dewi safe travels and all the best for future! Furthermore, some great warungs within 5 min walk for dinner, and spa next door is great, we had everything from massages to manicures and all very well executed.

Everything! The communication was flawless before we arrived. The family is welcoming, attentive and kind to their guests, always available, always working. They arranged transportation for us and they offered competitive price compared to what was proposed by other agencies. The property is beautiful, plants everywhere, clean, and relaxing. The bungalow is big, very tidy and comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious, with fresh fruits every morning. The beach is 4-5 minutes away walk. For the price, it’s more than we could have imagined we could get. Suksema! 🙏🏻

Fantastic homestay with a great location. Wonderful helpful owners 🫶

I booked 4 nights in October and extended by two more. The property has a nice garden (some insects outdoors, bring repellent), it is a few minutes on foot from the beach (directly at the snorkel spot) and from some nice warungs. I stayed in a nice clean room with a large bed with a firm mattress and good mosquito net and several facilities to hang or lay clothes and stuff. I liked the outdoor bath with plants and a well working warm shower (and hooks). The room was made up each day, which in my experience is not the norm in Bali. The tasty breakfast was the standard choice plus coffee/tea and fresh fruits. Best mangoes I had during my holiday. Nila and Budi and their staff were great hosts, present, friendly, affectionate and always ready to help me with recommendations, planning trips, organizing transport and extra requests like renting a bike to explore the surroundings.

The temperature oft the air condition could not be adjusted.

For the price, this is a great place. It was clean. The owners were very nice and accommodating. The internet was great.

The entire bathroom was outside. Although showering and using the toilet outside are nice, having the sink outside was inconvenient. The light was poor and there are many mosquitoes. The lights next to the bed were also very dim. They were really much more like night lights than usable reading lights. In fact, it was impossible to read at all with them.

Host were very lovely and I really enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend!
