This is an absolutely charming traditional-style guest house. The property itself is over 400 years old, but it has been modernized without losing any of it's charm. Nena, the owner is a lovely host, and very helpful with information about the area. Breakfast was terrific. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again ... I might even plan another holiday around a stay at Mpelliko. P.S. Don't let the fact that it doesn't have air conditioning dissuade you from staying here ... the evening air is cool and fresh.

Spectacular location, amazing breakfast, a very warm welcome, huge expertise on walking options both on and off the Menalon trail, breathtaking view from the room to wake up to, invaluable guidance on getting to the house and parking, a beautiful garden with stunning roses, hot water for shower and a nice long comfortable bed

"Lovely host and amazing view"

We loved the host Nena, who is a wonderful source of information; she gave us lots of tips on a lovely walk from ancients Gortys to the monastery of Prodromou. The guesthouse is in a beautiful location at the top of Stemnitsa, and our room had a terrace with an amazing view over the village. The breakfast is very tasty and homemade and from the breakfast you also have a nice view over the village.
