Grangegeeth Inn

The staff was very helpful when we were very late for our check-in. They have a bar which had live music when we arrived. The room was spacious. Breakfast is simple but well appreciated nevertheless.

Unfortunately we had no hot water in the morning.

Close to important historic sites.

The bar music was on the opposite side of our bed wall. Did not stop until 12:15.

Big room in a big house, right next door to pub for dinner and drinks. Free breakfast included (cereals and pastries). Great value for money. Motorbike parking right outside windows. Fabulous bathroom. Well heated

Sheets were stained, though clean. Pub can be a bit noisy up until about 10pm with people leaving

I loved the whole experience and the out unit I stayed in I would definitely recommend and reserve it for my next stay. Staff are wonderful helpful and very friendly even the customers in the lounge were lovely and friendly

Can't say one thing wrong about it

We didn’t stay; after we looked at our assigned room, we returned our key to the entry desk and left. We cancelled our reservation and took the hit for the late cancellation.

There was no one there to greet or check us in. Carpet on the stairs up to our room was dirty. The room was hot/stuffy and the furniture did not appear clean. The mattress was very lumpy. The bathroom was poorly lit and there was obvious mildew around the tub/shower. The pictures on the Grangegeeth Inn website do not accurately represent this accommodation. Specifically, there was no clothes washer in the kitchen area; the floors in the room showed signs of heavy wear; the restaurant/pub was closed Tuesday and Wednesday (not what is posted on line)

The area is very far from town,
