The room was great and comfortable. It was spacious and clean. But the facility was quiet which made resting enjoyable.

The kitchen water smells like sewage, very bad smell. It would have been bearable considering the location, but the owner was unbelievably rude and condescending!

Everything was great,apart from the shower was cold

Big spacious room,pub next door, had food it was lovely,breakfast you made itself but that was fine,everything you needed to start the day,staff all friendly

Marked down for one point simply because of location,quite and peaceful but we like to take a walk after dinner but country roads with no footpath,cars travelling quite fast,would stay again as a stop over

That the place didn't collapse on us

The smell of sewage in our room was so overpowering that it woke us up in the middle of the night. It was impossible to even step into the bathroom without feeling physically sick—the stench was that intense. Despite opening the window fully, which made the room freezing cold, the smell didn’t improve. We ended up having to move into my parents’ room just to get some relief. On top of that, the noise levels were unacceptable—you could clearly hear every word from the room across the hall. The condition of the room itself was also very poor. The kitchen smoke detector had been removed, leaving exposed wires hanging from the ceiling, which felt unsafe. There was extensive mould throughout the space, and the walls appeared to be only half painted, giving the whole place an unfinished and neglected feel. I was expecting a basic, budget-friendly stay, but this was far below any reasonable standard. I would not stay here again under any circumstances.

I couldn't get in the first night. Another Guest had locked the front door and there was no other way in.

Bathroom dirty., walls/ skirting and shower tray not clean. No bath towels. No stopper in sink. Gap in floorboard which a hammer would resolve. 2 notices in room with differing info re wifi. Skimpy duvet. No bin . Only one table lamp. No full size mirror.
