Friar's Lodge

The owner was a lovely lady We stayed the mid Jan so it was not fully open so did not eat there .We were given a full suite it was huge everthing lovely and the lady said there was no rush checking out followng morning .v close to centre really enjoyed our stay will be back.

So warm and welcoming! A shout out to Maureen. She really made my stay so comfortable! Her hospitality went above and beyond!! The rooms are huge and the location is right in town.

Staff were lovely, very central, comfy bed and very clean

Spacious room and history of the lodge. Good location for exploring Kinsale.

Slightly cold room due to the size. Also had the misfortune of being opposite a room in which persons returned in the early hours each night ignorant of the noise they were making whilst inebriated. Not much the lodge can do to control that but worth factoring in if booking a family room given the likelihood of fellow guests enjoying the splendour of Kinsale pubs / bars.
