Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang

Die Gartenanlage der Unterkunft ist ein Traum! Überall blüht es und es ist schön grün außenherum! Es gibt auch Affen, die mal kurz vorbei schauen können. Personal war super nett. Es wird Laundry angeboten, was vor allem nach dem Dschungel dringend notwendig war!. Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Zimmer (vor und nach dem Trekking) die beiden sehr schön waren, inkl Hängematte zum Ausruhen. Und es war außerdem möglich das große Gepäck während dem Trekking vor Ort zu lassen. Das Essen war auch sehr gut. Für den Dschungel kann man in der Nähe auch noch Klopapier und Wasser kaufen.

Die Matratzen waren für mich zu weich

Good location and good staff. My tour guide Andika is professional and took care of me kindly. We saw 5 orangutans and some other monkeys during the trekking. And it's lucky to see the corpse flower.

Sehr schöne und Sauber Unterkunft. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und helfen einem bei jeden kleinen Problem gerne weiter. Die 2D1N Tour ist sehr zu empfehlen.

We booked the orangutan trek with them as well, and Andre and Jonny were brilliant and respectful guides. Loved every second of it

De jongens die het werk verrichte (personeel) en de jungle hike was helemaal geweldig.

De haan van de buren. Het ontvangst door de organisator (oudere man) was niet geheel relaxed. Hij was enigszins opdringerig met het aanzetten tot het boeken van de activiteiten terwijl wij een lange reis achter de rug hadden was onze behoefte groot om eerst even te ontspannen. Op het einde was deze man overigens wel heel aardig, compliment daarvoor.

You stay in bukit lawang for the experience and this guesthouse delivers that well. The common area is big and has a lot of plants. We had a 3-day trekking with Zuhri and it was very professional and fun. We saw 3 orangutans and many other monkeys on the way. Rafting at the end was really fun. Everyone at the hotel put their hearts into what they do, we got a nice welcome by Dika and spent a nice evening with the staff talking and playing instruments. Good to know: there is a live music show every Saturday in the adjacent hotel.

We rented the cheapest room so we didn’t expect luxuries. There was no hot water, there were some bugs in the room, no ac made it a bit hotter at night. Some options from the menu were not available. But if you take the 3-day trek, all this will not seem like a problem anymore. You’re in a goddamn jungle, so don’t expect a 5-star hotel! :)
