Junia Guesthouse Bukit Lawang

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Spreken goed Engels en zijn zeer muzikaal. Vanuit de guesthouse een eigen gids voor jungletour ingehuurd. Panda, zeer goede gids. Wij werden erg verwend in de jungle. Een belevenis om nooit te vergeten. Veel wildlife gezien.

Niks, alles goed en perfect

Bukit lawang heeft mijn hart gestolen! Dat heeft met name door mijn ervaring met het personeel van Junia's guesthouse te maken. Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is een familiebedrijf en dat was te merken aan de sfeer, ontzettend fijn. Naast familie werkten er ook andere erg vriendelijke medewerkers. Ik ben hierheen gereisd met mijn broertje en vanaf de boeking is er goed voor ons gezorgd. Het vervoer van vliegveld Medan, tours en taxi naar Lake Toba is allemaal geregeld met het personeel. Anton gaf ons goede tips en dacht mee door bijvoorbeeld te kiezen voor de toeristisch route naar Lake Toba. Daarnaast is de jungle trekking en village tour via Junia's geregeld. Onze gidsen van de jungle trekking Zuhri en Dika hebben ontzettend goed voor ons gezorgd en maakten de jungle trekking tot een waar avontuur en erg bijzondere ervaring. Ze zijn goed op de hoogte van veiligheid, ook de natuur, flora en fauna en namen de tijd om ons alles uit te leggen en te laten zien. Ook voor het eten was ontzettend goed gezorgd door mister Don (de kok). Ik kijk met ontzettend veel plezier terug op ons verblijf, de tours en de zorg waarmee het personeel ons heeft geholpen. Ontzettend bedankt daarvoor!

Het enige wat ik mij kan bedenken is als aandachtspunt hygiene. Er leek een lekkage te zijn.

I liked everything! The room was spacious and clean, the bed was super comfy, my private outside space was huge and beautiful. The staff were always friendly and smiley and incredibly helpful. The food was delicious and the coffee was hot. I was made to feel very welcome. The hotel is located in a beautiful spot by the river and within walking distance of the jungle, a paradise that I didn't want to leave. My guide wisnu (Nu) was fabulous, he made my holiday absolutely perfect. He took me to the best places and was always happy, smiley and friendly, with lots of knowledge of the area. Not just a guide to me now, I also consider him a friend. He's given me some of my best memories and I can't thank him enough. I highly recommend Junia hotel to everyone. I'm a solo traveler, but this place is perfect for couples and families alike. I genuinely did not want to leave and as soon as I can, I will be back. Thank you guys for everything xxx

Bettwäsche/Kissen könnten sauberer sein, Seife im Bad hat gefehlt, keine Möglichkeiten im Zimmer etwas aufzuhängen

Locatie was top! De accommodatie was schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De staf helpt je overal bij. Zelfs als je de volgende ochtend in medan moet zijn en je om 3 uur snachts weg moet. Blijft er iemand wakker om je naar de taxi te begeleiden. Op zaterdag is er bij de buren een feest tot 2 uur snachts, maar daar valt prima mee te dealen

Sehr schöne, gepflegte Anlage mit gemütlichem Restaurant nahe am Fluss. Unser Bungalow hatte neben der schönen Terrasse auch noch eine Dachterrasse mit sehr schönem Blick.

We stayed on the upper floor of the cottage, and it was very spacious, with a balcony and a latch door leading to the rooftop with gorgeous view of the jungle and the river. The shower was literally a "rain" shower as it had an open roof， unique. It's one of the few places with aircon AND hot water shower. We enjoyed our stay here.

Me and my mom booked 3-nights at Junia Guesthouse and we had the best time. Our transportation from Medan Airport that we booked through them was perfect, even with some airline and time confusions they were so kind and had no problem with last minute changes. After arriving in Bukit Lawang we were welcomed to Junia (Beautiful place, very comfortable room with nice view of the garden, and loved the live music). We received information on some activities we could do. We decided to do a 1-day Jungle trek together with another couple and our guide Panca and the intern guides. This day was perfect, we saw orangutans, white handed gibbons, Thomas monkeys and much more. After the trek we ended our day eating by, and swimming in, the river before rafting our way back to the guesthouse. The next day we went to see the Titan arum flower. We where very lucky to see it and on top of that we saw some black gibbons. We had such a great time that we decided to book one extra night at Junia. On our final day we went to the bat caves, had a lovely swim in the river and enjoyed a bbq. For all of these activities we had Panca as a guide which we are very thankful for, he was great!
