"Allright, but expected a bit better"

Nice personal

You can not close the windows, so insects get easily inside. Also there where someone doing some work on the roof really early in the morning which was a bit irritating.

"Basic local guesthouse in Ubud"

Location, access to everything. Extremely friendly owner. Comfortable bungalow with access to 2 swimming pools. Nothing fancy, typical local guesthouse.

Block out curtains, new bed linen and refrigerator in the room would be great. Or access to a clean well equipped shared kitchen. Did not like the noise from the 2 or more local bars/restaurants with live bands every night. Not the peaceful environment we were hoping for in Ubud.
