"Exceptional"

Small but convinient, if you are ‚luxury’ traveller pay triple the price for some stinky ‚hotel’ in center and save the owners silly reviews. Room have everything and if you are missing anything or need on top, the owners are amazing, reply to texts straight away and help you with everything. I lived in area for 8 years so 100% safe and super close by walk, bus to center near by too.

Nice clean accommodation and bathroom was spotless.

The lack of a seat in the bedroom, and the bed being right up against the wall making it difficult to get in and out if you needed the bathroom during the night.

"Perfect for a city break, clean and easy to find. Nice half hour walk to the city centre."

Easy to find, great instructions and communication. Clean and perfect for a city night away.

Stairs were a bit tricky with cases. Basically a very narrow terraced house with steep stairs. Not a problem for us but might be tricky for older people or physical disabilities.

Nothing

The room was advertised online with photos clearly showing a shower and toilet bathroom photos. However, after booking, I was informed that the bathroom is actually shared( not private). This is misleading and unacceptable.

"Had a fantastic time"

It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, plus I was able to park outside, and the location was ideal, as it was a short walk into York, which was lovely as it took you by the canal

There was nothing to dislike
