Its priced okay but if driving

Bed was uncomfortable and the pillows and the giant click ticking all night is annoying

fantastic location and lovely room in quiet part of town so we had a lovely night's sleep. highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if we're in York

+ Anytime self checkin made for easy entry + Room looked as photos suggested... small but clean and comfortable + Loads of tea and coffee + A 15 minute walk to central York/Train station along the most beautiful river stretch ( some people may find this too far but I liked it as such a nice walk -- but at night could be a different story if alone ).

- For the price I don't feel I can complain about anything but they could put a bedside lamp somehow there as only the overhead bright big light was a switch too far from bed ( even battery powered if sockets are an issue ! ) - I had to use my phone torch for this. - I would like to have known this room(5) was on the ground floor facing the street as I am averse to car noises in the morning but this time I had to get up super early so didn't matter that much.
