Mentokling Guest House and Garden Restaurant

Excellent location - a short walk to Leh market and a few minutes hike to Leh Palace. The all day and night in-house garden cafe has good food and very affordable. The room is spaceous, with big bed and huge closet space. Staff are very helpful.

Only 1 pillow per guest was provided. Hot water takes a while to come out, tap has to be opened for around 3 minutes before hot water comes out, hence so much wasted water. Bathroom is open plan - no shower screen or curtain so entire bathroom floor gets wet after showering.

Comfortable to stay in it.

Look extra money towards vehicle booking for local tour.

Staff, location, friendliness and hospitality

Centrally located. We were there at the beginning and at the end of our motorbike tour. First time had a room on a lower floor with a harder mattress and mold in the bathroom. On our return we got better room on the top floor. Staff was very nice and the restaurant was very good.
