Mentokling Guest House and Garden Restaurant

Splendid guest house, perfect location, great personnel, nice rooms, always hot water and a wonderful restaurant. I would recommend this stay to everyone.

Nothing at all.

The restaurant was always open and available. Meals were good and as westerners we did not yet I’ll at all! Service from staff was of the highest level. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious with private bathroom.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The shower was of a wet room style and there was not always hot water.

Nice and spacious rooms. Good restaurant facilities and friendly staff. Good value for money.

My room was on the 3rd floor and when you just arrive from sealevel, this is a bit of a challenge.

Every one at Metnokling is amazing. Super nice people all around. They helped me book taxis, get permits, everything I needed. The owner even took me on a taxi tour which I learned a great deal about Ladakh from. Amazing place.

Short walk to the market, but easy to do. The room was cold in the beginning of June but the extra blankets were plenty to stay warm.

Our bed was not comfortable, but the management remedied it.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location a few minutes walk from the main bazaar. Space for motorcycle parking. The garden restaurant was a lovely retreat from the bustle of Leh.
