Seclude Palampur

Caretaker n Manager on location are very kind. Staff was eager to please, food is simple, fresh n tasty even in a remote place. View of the mountains from small garden area is very pretty. The room was well lit, heater provided and didn't really have a mountain view as mentioned , until you came out to the common corridor.

Heavily overpriced property at INR 9k a night. When I protested saying the rates were showing at 5.4k and the property was more than 50% empty I was told only the Sales office could help. Next day at 1.15 they reverted on email saying I cud move to a bigger cottage, price could not be adjusted. That didn't address my issue at all of higher pricing. Anyway the property needs repairs as the old wooden floors n partitions make for every noise in the other 3 rooms on the top floor to be heard. The bath area is small n fills with water, the mattresses sunk n need a change.

The Seclude was a beautiful property away from the maddening crowds situated in a serene village in Palampur.The room had amazing views.The food was super tasty and homestyle .The manager ,caretaker and the staff were so attentive to our needs that we did not feel we were away from our home.
