"Exceptional"

This is a charming heritage homestay that is centrally located in the city. The rooms are situated around an open courtyard in the centre of the house. Each room is tastefully done, and is big, and comfortable. The meals were delicious, and many of the dishes are unique to the family. Above all, the hosts were warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The fact that it wasn’t right at the city centre amidst the noise. The moment you entered the lane of Madhav bagh, it was quaint and peaceful.

"A fairytale like place hidden in a garden"

Gorgeous architecture with charming details also inside the room, common places and garden. Very kind and helpful hosts and tasty food.

The rooms were perfect but the place (garden, etc) needs a bit of tlc.

A thoughtful and atmospheric updating of a heritage property, full of character and interest. Charming and engaged host, interesting conversations and plenty of useful tips of what to visit in the city. Absolutely delicious Gujarati meals served in a homely setting.

Some electrical fittings and plumbing need attention
