Madhav Bagh - Royal Heritage Stay

My stay at Madhav Bagh in Vadodara was splendid! It's a historic mansion managed by the royal owners- Shivrajsinh Gaekwad and his wife, Indrayanidevi Gaekwad, who oversee the operations personally . The rooms were cozy and charming, blending old-fashioned elegance with modern comforts like TVs , aircon and plush beds. The food was delightful, including the traditional Gujarati dishes served with care. Overall, my time at Madhav Bagh was truly memorable. It offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in Vadodara's rich history and beauty.Madhav Bagh was nothing short of magical. It was a privilege to step into the world of the Gaekwads and experience the timeless beauty of this heritage bungalow. I recommend it highly to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable stay in Vadodara.

We had a very comfortable stay . Above all it was a true home stay . Our host and hostess were charming and helpful and we enjoyed our conversations with them. The food was excellent and the staff well trained and attentive. Strongly recommended .
