Amazing view and breakfast

Loved our room.. it was decorated beautifully and very comfortable and spacious with a great balcony. We loved the view out to the mountains and waterfall too! The staff were super helpful and the breakfast was a great start to the day. If you are there to see the train you will love that this property is literally a hop skip and a jump from the tracks.. you can train watch or walk into town on the tracks very quickly.

Some early morning / late night noise from the train but we didnt mind at all. Very slight damp smell that we found in a few of the places we stayed on our trip.

Don’t under estimate this place. Room had everything one might need including one of the comfiest beds and powerful showers so far in Sri Lanka. The room we stayed in had a fantastic view of Ella rock and a waterfall. It’s a very easy walk into Ella along the rail way tracks (this is normal in Ella I promise). Staff wanted to do as much as they could to make the stay at the hotel and time in Ella as enjoyable as possible. 

Clean and cosy room with a beautiful view from the balcony, and hot shower. Wonderful team that made our stay just perfect, they even drafted a small map to show us the way to Ella Rock. Very tasty local breakfast! We can only recommend this place!

Location in quite area, perfect view on waterfall, helpfull staff, they met us on the road to help with luggage. Room is equipped with tea facilities and cozy balcony

There was no hot water in shower on evenings and problem with cold water on mornings. WiFi was very weak, almost no internet on evenings. During the day wifi was acceptable. We had to wait for breakfast about 30 minutes after appointed time every day. Service and facilities in general are poor enough for this price.

Fantastic view . The food and specially the breakfast was fantastic. Overall a very pleasant stay and value for money.

The bed linen and the pillows was a bit dated and musty.

Fantastic view from the balconies, nice and clean rooms, a host that helped with all you needed - recommendations in town, taxi and tours. - And the location was perfect with 10 minutes walk along the tracks into town

The view! The location is fantastic… just outside of town enough to feel peaceful and secluded but an easy 10 min walk down the tracks to all the action. Waking up to the sound of the waterfall and peacocks was just heaven. The room was comfortable and spacious and sitting on the balcony a joy. The staff are fantastic and helped with laundry, guides as to walking up Ella rock and organised a taxi for us to move on. Breakfast is a real spread and was different each morning.. fresh and delicious
