Petit déjeuner très copieux, literie confortable et bon emplacement, à 10 min à pieds en longeant les rails vous allez à gauche au nine arches et à droite en ville. Très dépaysant, magnifique vue sur la cascade. Allez-y !

Fabulous views and excellent service from Pradeep. Great breakfast - although far more than we could eat. A little out if town so avoided the traffic, nouse and incessant music of the main street!

Location is wonderful but a walk into town requires a walk along the railway line - take a light if at nighttime and cross fingers its not raining. Not for everyone but we enjoyed the romance of it.

The views from the balcony are great you can see the waterfall, Ella rock and the surrounding landscape and is a great place to sit and watch the wildlife, amazing birds etc. The walk to Ella is a short, easy walk along the railway tracks. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was also very good also.

The bathroom had a couple of leaks which they tried to fix

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr ruhig, die letzten 100 Meter muss man über Bahnschienen um das Guesthouse zu erreichen. Ramesh hat uns empfangen und alles arrangiert, was wir uns wünschten. Das Frühstück war sensationell und immer etwas verschieden, sehr lecker! Das Zimmer ist einfach, aber der Ausblick grandios! Ich war von Ella und diesem Touristenrummel wirklich schockiert, hier an den Hotspots , wie 9ArchBridge oder LittleAdams Peak trifft sich die gesamte Selfie- Instagram-Gemeinde und lebt ihre Spasswelt in erschreckender Oberflächlichkeit..

Alles war fein

Majutus ise oli väga armas ja oli näha, et on pingutatud. Tuba oli puhas ja armas, kena vaatega rõdu. Väga- väga maitsev hommikusöök ( kuigi kohv meie mõistes ei kõlba siin kuskil juua) Üllatav oli, et toas oli valik veine ja ka külmik. Ka õlu ja muud katastudjoogid olid hotellis saadaval, mis üldiselt siinsetes hotellides ei ole tavaline!

Etteheiteid pole, aga adukoht on veidi keeruline. Ise sealt keskusesse ei jaluta. Aiinult tuk- tukiga või taksoga. Kui õhtul sööma tahad minna, siis päris pikk maa mööda serpentiinilist teed.

Die Aussicht vom Balkon. Der Sonnenaufgang am Morgen, die kühle Brise am Abend.

Zunächst war das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend, doch im Verlauf empfand ich es zunehmend aufdringlich. Es wurde mehrmals an meine Zimmertür geklopft und ich erhielt ständig WhatsApp-Nachrichten, was sehr unangenehm war. Am zweiten Abend gab es in der Nähe einen Waldbrand (ca. 2–3 km entfernt), der sich ausbreitete und mir Angst machte, in der Unterkunft zu übernachten. Als ich den Besitzer kontaktierte, erhielt ich lediglich die Antwort, es handle sich um ein „harmloses Gartenfeuer“. Diese Aussage empfand ich respektlos und verharmlosend. Als das Feuer sich immer mehr ausbreitete geriet ich in Panik und habe noch in derselben Nacht meine Sachen gepackt und bin abgereist. Am nächsten Morgen erhielt ich wiederholt Nachrichten, warum ich nicht Bescheid gesagt hätte und warum ich ohne zu zahlen gegangen sei. Sogar mit der Polizei wurde mir gedroht. Ich bot einen Banktransfer an und habe die Zahlung dann auch durchgeführt, was sich aber aufgrund der Bankensituation vor Ort als schwierig herausstellte. Bis zur Erledigung erhielt ich stündlich Nachrichten, die extrem unangenehm waren.
