Dilshan Cottage

The guesthouse is well located close to the centre but quiet enough in the evening. Rooms are fairly basic but more than adequate for our purposes, and the host was very helpful with guidance on our stay.

Location is perfect, the bed is comfortable and you have a fantastic view on the mountains. Upali is really kind and helpful. Totally recommended!

The man taking care of this place has such a fun personality and is very talkative (it may bother some people, not us though). And he is a fantastic cook. We had the most delicious breakfast prepared fresh by him, better than more expensive resort. Rooms are clean, beautiful view and very good location.

A little smell of mold in one of the rooms and a little basic, but very very good overall.

Nice clean and quiet room , lovely breakfast and helpful staff, ideal location for walk up little adams peak and nine arch bridge , short walk to the main strip with plenty of bars and restaurants 😀

Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in der Nähe vom Little Adams Peak und der Nine Arche Bridge. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ins Grüne ist wunderschön. Das Frühstück ist frisch und sehr lecker. Der Manager vor Ort hat uns immer weitergeholfen und Tipps gegeben und hat uns sogar von seinen selbst gemachten Honig probieren lassen.

The room was really big, the bed was huge and there was a lovely little area outside to sit and have breakfast and watch the sunset. Great variety of breakfast i stayed for 5 nights and always enjoyed the breakfast. It takes about 10/15 minutes to walk down into the centre of Ella which i enjoyed.

The bathroom could use an extractor fan, because it is cold in Ella the bathroom which is more of a wet room struggles to dry completely. I also didnt like the fact that there wasnt a plug socket located by the bed. But neither of these things would stop me from booking and staying here again
