The owner is SO lovely and accommodating. Goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Room was clean, quiet, lovely view, great location near to main strip but off the main roads so no noise. Would definitely recommend staying here

Beautiful terrace with view in the front of each room. Mosquito nets in the room and nets in windows, so you can breath fresh air all the nigh and no mosquito come inside :). EXCELLENT location - near Little Adam´s Peak, near Nine arch bridge view point, far from tuk-tuk´s smell and still near the centre with all the bars.

The price on booking was without 18%VAT. I don t like such tricks. Pilows.

-very clean -good brekkie -good shower pressure and hot water -Gent who is the on site manager is very nice and always up for a chat -good location: short walk from the town and a light slope takes you up there -nice view to the valley and mountains

-family room is very small: 2 double bed were squeezed into the room. We were 2 of us in the room so we could keep our backpacks on one of the bed but if both of the beds are in use literally you will have no space to put your belongings anywhere. -hotel is close to the main road so its quite noisy-> I think it is the same in any other hotel as all of them located close to the roads and traffic is heavy. -there are no glasses on the windows only wooden blinds so evenings could be cold and noises could be louder.

Beautiful views and lovely clean rooms. The owner is really welcoming and friendly, he helped arrange taxi to Dickwella and scooters for a good price; he was always around if we needed anything. The property is around 15 minutes to walk into town. Would definitely recommend!

Very clean place, very clean bed (cleanest bed we had so far in Sri Lanka), beautiful view and balcony in front of every room. Bathroom with very hot water and window. Super nice host. Breakfast very tasty and variable. Located a bit on the hill, walk about 5-10 minutes to the centre, restaurants nearby, but also nature. Perfect location. Mr. Upali is very nice and perfectly organised. Thank you very much

Fantastic place! Clean, cozy room (it is quite small but ok for a short stay) with a short walk to restaurants, pubs, and laundry. The bathroom is clean with hot water and fresh towels. The bed is large and comfortable. Enjoy a mountain view with no dump smell. The basic but fresh breakfast was a plus. Convenient parking next to the house. It was quiet, but we were the only ones there. Gamini, the manager, is absolutely fantastic and super friendly.

The room was a bit too small for two people with back packs.

Great host with Gamini, he's a lovely man who's always open for a chat! The room was clean, thicker blankets as it can get a bit colder in Ella and hot water with great pressure. The breakfast was also delicious, Gamini makes the best coconut roti we had so far. Weather conditions in Ella don't require an air con, so absolutely fine with a fan.

Room could be a bit more spaceous and could have a few more spaces to hang up clothes as the conditions are very humid in Ella.
