The rooms had no windows. Entering the property requires immediately climbing a steep, narrow staircase

The owner was extremely friendly and adaptable to my situation, she was very kind and even let me keep my bags at the property ling after checkout time so that I could explore more of kyoto. The beds are comfortable as well as the toilet and shower facilities.

The steep staircase at the entrance made bringing luggage inside difficult and the lack of natural light in my room meant I over slept easily.

"Overall a nice stay and love the house environment."

Cheap and its located in a shopping street and there is a supermarket nearby which you can buy stuff from

1. Quite a distance from nearby train stations, regardless of JR or Local trains. 2. Staircases is there, so if you are bringing a large luggage case, mind that you have to carry it yourself up the stairs
