Ida Guest House & JUNGLE TREKKING

First time in Indonesia and didn't know what to expect. Just after I booked, the whole trip to Bukit Lawang was easy. The owner took contact on WhatsApp and arranged transport from airport, greeted us personal on arrival, and arranged everything we needed for the stay. Jungle trekking, Snake safari, Elephant safari. The restaurant had great food and located along the river with a perfect view. When (not if) we come back to Bukit Lawang we for sure will stay here again.

We only stayed 4 nights. Should have been there at least 6-7 nights.

The location is super central and the rooms are actually huge! The hosts are such wonderful people—they made us feel at home right away. A big plus is their riverside restaurant just across the street; it’s the perfect spot to relax and made our stay so much more convenient. We booked the jungle trek through them (the main reason we chose this place), and it was the absolute highlight of our trip! The guides were experts and took such good care of us, from the great food at the camp to the fun atmosphere. A total experience of a lifetime—don't miss it!

Wifi not always working in the rooms, but this was not an issue.

Het uitzicht, het eten is fantastisch, de kamers zijn super schoon, het personeel is super vriendelijk en niks is teveel gevraagd.

Das Bett war super gemütlich, sauber und es hatte ein Moskitonetz. Das Essen war lecker. Die Organisation der Taxifahrten zur Unterkunft und zurück an den Flughafen, waren unkompliziert. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit.

Leider war der Wasserdruck in der Dusche sehr gering.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel ran excellent tour packages to the national park and other places in the area. Wonderful staff. Toby was a great jungle guide!
