Ida Guest House & JUNGLE TREKKING

We were given a very nice room with airconditioning, hot water, large balcony & great views over the river & village. Onsite restaurant offered good range of foods & drinks at decent prices. Location was central to the village (but see below), so was near to shops and restaurants. Hotel offered orangutan sighting trips which were well organised & the guides were very helpful. Hotel also provided taxi service at a good price between Medan and Bukit Lawang.

The location was very central, close to the main routes through the village: no cars can go there, but noisy motorbikes do, 24 hours in the day. Internet was off for the first of our two days.

Ich gebe normalerweise keine Bewertungen ab, aber dieser Anbieter in Bukit Lawang hat mich positiv beeindruckt. Für den Preis kann man natürlich absolut nicht meckern. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut und die Lage ist die Beste von allen. Aber was besonders hervorsticht, ist der unglaublich nette und fürsorgliche Besitzer und Mitarbeiter. Er allein und die super Tourguides, mit denen er zusammenarbeitet sind der Grund, dass ich diese Bewertung abgebe. Wenn ihr für ein Trekking Erlebnis herkommt, könnt ihr keine bessere Wahl treffen.

Great staff, big clean room, restaurant right n front. Can book trekking directly from there, guides were hands down the best! Loved it!

This is a perfect spot for those looking for a clean, quiet place to stay. The service is top-notch. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Absolutely recommendable!
