Pondok Prapen Guest House

Beautiful room, breakfast brought to our terrace at the exact time we ordered. Friendly staff that accommodated us with an early breakfast due to our early check out.

Everything! The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature! It was super clean, the bed and the shower were great, the coffee is amazing and the staff is super friendly! They have room service everyday which is super convenient. Besides that, they also have a restaurant near the guest house which is incredible! Good vibes only, we had a great time at Pondok Prapen Guest House and definitely recommend it!

The property was not able to fully meet our request for a fragrance free room. But that is because most facilities in Bali use a laundry service that has a scented detergent and they did their best. Otherwise the location, staff and room were extraordinary and we TRULY enjoyed our stay here. The father and son that run the guest house are so sweet and helpful and the restaurant that they run is exquisite.

We were very impressed with the property and loved the Balinese architecture. Although the suite is located within a family complex, we always had our privacy. The staff and the family were fabulous - attentive, polite and accommodating with any request. The location was ideal although it did require lots of walking which we love. It is close to the centre of Ubud yet away from the noise and traffic. We ordered a Grab taxi or driver whenever we wanted to venture out of town which we highly recommend doing! The breakfast was included in the stay and was delicious! You are welcome to order from the restaurant menu at an additional cost which is extremely reasonable.

The pools belong to the private villas and are not accessible.

A very nice and cosy room. Beautiful ornaments and interior! Good breakfast and very kind staff. I recommend staying here. It's very affordable.

It felt like being in someone's lovely home and garden, while also being private. It was a privilege to stay in such a divine, blessed setting, full of atmosphere and personality. The same family's restaurant a minute's walk away was also a lovely haven, with fantastic food all through the day and utterly chamring staff.

Room n.5 is upstairs, with a nice balcony and feels really private, there’s no one else. The room and toilet are big, laundry is 20k/kg. Breakfast is served every morning at the time you prefer. It’s ~15 mins walking from the “center”, it’s a quiet place with few restaurants around if you don’t wanna walk.

- The choices for the breakfast are really limited: 1 drink (coffee or tea), eggs, bacon, toasted. - You can only reach the place by scooter or walk. Cars must stop ~50 meters before.
