Tegar Guest House Ubud

The location is in the center of Ubud city. The room is clean and so comfortable for rest/sleep.

- Location is good. But I’d rather stay a bit further from the center than staying here. - Breakfast is included but the option I chose didn’t taste well. - The hosts are probably nice (they’re just never at the accommodation except for breakfast time) but just don’t speak any English (or not good at least). Don’t know if they didn’t understand all the issues I told them or just didn’t care.

- Rooms are super humid and therefore have an awful smell. There’s no airconditioning, which I knew and didn’t care about, but because of this the humidity and smell only gets worse. I had the feeling I couldn’t breathe properly when I was inside. - The entire bathroom is full with black mold because of the humidity. - The rest of the room hasn’t been cleaned in a while, judging by the amount of dust and filth everywhere. - The bed almost falls apart when you move and the sheets have a lot of holes and numerous stains. - The windows don’t close all the way which means everyone can look into your room. Same problem with the door. I had someone banging on my door at 10 pm and didn’t feel safe anymore after that. - Had absolutely no sleep the 1 night I stayed there and just had to leave even though I booked 4 nights. After explaining everything to the host, I still had to pay for all nights so that was a very expensive 1 night stay at an awful accommodation.

Great location, nice enough rooms, basic but that's reflected in the price. Would happily stay again.

There was something splattered on the wall which looked like blood.
