Sunset Cottages

Our room was right infront of a peaceful black sand beach with a beautiful view. There is good coral to the left side. Our host, Pak Hendrick and his family were amazing! Concerned to meet our every need. The food was delicious. Sight seeing areas very close by. Thank you!

The room is a bit dark, handy to bring a little headlamp.

Right on the beach, in the middle of the trees. Basic bungalows with beautiful views of the sea. Amazing sunset every day. The food is good, simple and fresh. Overall we liked our stay very much and definitely recommend Sunset Cottages! Hendrik and the staff are kind, friendly and helpful.

We arrived a few days later than we booked because of cancelled flight but Hendrik was really flexible .Great location, food in the restaurant is good and staff always here to help. They were as well supporting in organising da trips. Definitely recommend it. We really enjoyed the open air bathroom too.

Greatly located at the beach the owner Hendrik makes everything possible so that your stay is perfect. We organized a snorkeling tour for us and also took great care of transport. And Adil and his team prepare very delicious breakfasts and dinner.

Very nice staff ! The staff cooked really nice meals for us. We could order what we wanted and they bought it and cooked it fresh . It was located right in front of the ship wreck- so we could go diving directly from there.

Unfortunately the property is not well maintained. The owner seems not to care about it. There is not even a fan - so it is really hot and hard to sleep. The hygiene conditions are difficult.

The cottages are right at the beach where is great snorkeling. the food on the menu is fresh prepared for you and very tasty. overall the staff on site takes really good care and in high season it could be a nice get away from busier parts of the region. also good communication with the owner and there is a possibility for scooter rental so that its no problem to be a bit further out of town.

The accommodation is quite overpriced considering other options nearby with better value for money. I checked out one day earlier because I did not feel safe, I was the only guest on site. The premises is very dark at night and people from outside could enter through the public beach next to it without being seen because of the darkness. Also the cottage was old and there were ants everywhere leaving their traces. There is no sink in the bathroom, just a shower and a toilet, which is inconvenient for brushing teeth or washing hands. the lighting in and outside was also not very nice. during the day my stay was nice with some swimming and snorkeling but in the night it was not so nice. also, it's close to a busy road. there was no reaction of the owner when I checked out early because not feeling save.
