VNThis is a nice spot to spend a couple of days. The beach is metres away. Swimming is possible and safe. Local life goes on as if there were no tourists. You can watch the fishermen from your balcony. The restaurant food is quite good and affordable. Bring mosquito lotion and keep your food away from the ants which are prolific.

CNVery unique experience of life in Maumere. No hot shower but the water is not cold during daytime and the electricity power is stable. Not many bugs and during night is cool weather. Staff very nice and highly recommend for divers!
CNMr Hendrik is very very helpful. He is very nice also flexible. We did scuba diving there as well, with the help of Jordan, owner of Santai Diver Maumere. Both Hendrik and Jordan are very professional and nice people. Highly recommend!!!!!! Restaurant in The cottages is also very good, with proper order. The staff are super nice including mr Aldi. 10 stars!

AUThe most amazing thing here was the beautiful coral reef just off the beach.The beach was shady and safe for children.Every day there was a lovely cool breeze from the sea. The cottages are simple but comfortable, with good mattresses and mosquito nets, although there were not many mosquitoes and right on the beach. The food can only be described as fabulous. Fresh fish every day if you want from the fishermen out the front.Aldi and Santi deliver beautifully decorated and tasty food.

DEAccommodation right at the sea. Own tiny house with own bathroom including mosquito net. Style is basic, but everything that you need! Biggest plus: the owners are very very friendly people and help with anything you need
LAThe huts are directly on the beach with good mosquito nets. Clean albeit colourful bedding. Food was very good and cold Bintang Staff are friendly and very helpful. Reminds me of Goa 20 years ago
