Musafir Guest House Syariah

I booked the night before without any special expectations. The hotel is nice, but the staff are really helpful even though they don’t speak English. I moved room on the first day because there is a more comfortable room downstairs and brought breakfast every morning. To make the stay wonderful was Suprapto, who often shares his precious time with guests. We went out to dinner and had a great coffee. Thanks to him I will always bring a wonderful memory of this city!

Maybe Wi-fii connection could be better but for using just Whatsapp, social network and basic stuff is enough

We have been travelling around Indonesia for one month and this has been the best place where we stayed! Absolutely amazing, clean, comfortable, great position, free coffe and tea. The room was perfect but the highlight of our stay here was our dinner with Suprapto. We really appreciated that he took his time to take us to eat at a local place. After that he showed us around the city before driving us back to the guest house. Thanks to Suprapto’s kindness and to the beauty of the room and the guesthouse, we spent two wonderful days in Solo. One hundred percent recommend staying here!!! We will definitely come back here on our next trip to Solo.

Comfortable Bed and spacious Room Clean Bathroom Friendly Staff Quiet Room Quite good Wifi! So why only 4? It could have been an 8 :(

I honestly really feel sorry for this rating but i have to give it a 4 to make, hopefully, an impact. As it was literally disappointing :( The staff entered my room without my consent or prior notice they would. Nor was their any emergency or maintenance that would justify such an act. I feel deeply disturbed by the fact that someone entered my private space without my consent, seeing my personal belongings, my private journal (which was open on my table). The door was locked twice!! Even though the intention, the staff brought some morning snack, were admirable. It still does not justify invading the private space of your guest. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable afterward. I wish this review to be seen as a constructive criticism and i hope the host and their team will revise their approach in how they treat their guest privacy! Its a really good place to stay in after all!

Very welcoming staff, allowed us to check-in early. Suprapto, the off-duty manager, still contacted us and arranged to transport us anywhere around Solo on his day off. This act of kindness was greatly appreciated, and helped to maximise our limited experience in Solo. The place was spotlessly clean and the staff were very efficient and professional when there was a huge thunderstorm, quickly covering and cleaning wet areas. The snacks for breakfast were also a pleasant surprise. Even the nearby mosque was a pleasant wake-up call - certainly more melodic than elsewhere! Musafir Guest House is a paragon of how to provide clean, good-value, hospitable accommodation for all travellers by doing some of the simple stuff exceptionally well.

Very strategic location. Good value for money. If you travel to Solo for food or culinary activities, I recommend you to stay here. U may drive only 5-10 minutes to get to any legendary foods in town.

Lovely place with great facilities eg small kitchen area and lounge area if you wanted to use. Bed was comfy though shower water pressure was limited. Great location for the city and would stay again on my next visit.
