Rooms are too small

It was a beautiful building with a lovely garden/sitout kind of area. The room was properly large and spacious. It was cool--we didn't even need the AC in the summer.

There was a persistent smell. They used a lot of room freshener (my bags still smell like it) but there was this something rotting somewhere kind of smell. The bathroom had nowhere to put anything and one towel rail that you had to lean over the toilet to reach. Not what I think of when someone says "executive suite". The worst issue though was that I had an early flight so needed to leave the hotel by 630am, so I asked if they could arrange a taxi. They suggested I try Uber but I didn't want to take a risk, so I said no please call someone you know so I know they will be here at 615. They said they would do it. They didn't give me any information about the taxi driver. The next morning I called them and checked and they said the taxi would be here at 615. By 630, there was no sign of the taxi, and that's when I realised they were calling an Uber, and they hadn't got one! I finally called my own Uber which arrived, and managed to leave by 645. This was utterly unacceptable. I am tempted to give them a 0 star rating!
