InTown - 60 second walk 2 Minster!

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and on both occasions I had a comfortable stay. The location is good, the room was quiet and warm, and the hosts were extremely accommodating and prompt in their communication. I am a light sleeper, and there are some reviews on here stating that other people found this hotel noisy, I fortunately did not experience this problem (possibly because I was using earplugs to sleep). Also, the complimentary coffee, tea, and sugar sachets were very much appreciated.

The room was generally clean, though the bathroom sink could have been a little cleaner. Additionally, a mini fridge and possibly a microwave would be very helpful—especially for guests travelling for work, like myself, who may find it difficult to manage meals without these amenities.

What a fabulous spot. So very close to the centre of the city.

There wasn't anything not to like. The room was very comfortable and clean. We didn't need any amenities to make food as we ate in the city. Room had tea and coffee making facilities.

It was compact but cosy, nice and warm with a big window if you wanted some fresh air, plenty of natural light but with a blind and curtains too so the light didn't disturb you in the morning. The bed was very comfortable with a decent duvet and pillows. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was easy to use with a really good, easy to control flow and temperature. There were clean towels available to use. The location was absolutely perfect if you want to walk about and explore the city. Loads of places to eat and drink within an easy walk and of course, the fabulous Minster close by too. I loved that you could hear the bells from the room. There is a Tesco express on the road too if you need any snacks or drinks. The kettle was clean and worked perfectly, and there were sachets of tea, coffee and milk available too. 3 mains plug sockets in the room, (not USB) a double either side of the bed and one underneath the kettle. Overall really impressed. Good communication from the hosts throughout, via text.

Bit of confusion with the WiFi. Was supplied two WiFi logins in the original emails but neither worked, but soon after arriving I had a text to say the current WiFi details were on a sign in the hallway, which worked perfectly. The front door didn't always close properly, (it needed a bit of a shove as it was good and solid) I always double checked but found it not properly closed on exiting once so it was a bit of a worry.

People in the room above were up at 5.45am and talking loudly non stop for ages, which woke me up each day. Other than that, we loved it. Clean, very comfy bed, warm room. Huge clean modern bathroom.

Nice central location to city centre. Easy self check in. Good communication from Staff. Comfortable bed, mattress topper is memory foam I think so a little too soft for us but hey ho. Shower pressure was good & strong. Lovely fluffy clean towels provided including a large bath sheet.

It was quite small, not a lot of space to manoeuvre round the bed. Some bits of damage to walls/bathroom cabinet but doesn't not effect usage of the room. There wasn't much room to use kettle etc & was unable to fill from bathroom sink so had to fill using the cups. Again these are small quibbles 😁 we would use again.
