ARTHUR the owner,an amazing host in every way,anything at anytime,nothing is not too much trouble for him,he even insisted of carrying our cases to our room,that is up the stairs,the all freshly cooked breakfast is more than ample, as is the fresh healthy fruits and berries freshly prepared and cut for you with cereals etc,The room we had and bed was the best we have had in these type of small hotels we freqent,for comfort and so cosy,cleaniness 100%.Free safe car parking,We loved it there and coming back from further up north,we stayed again, at this warm inviting hotel and enjoyed Arthurs hospitality once more and shall 100% stay there again when we re vist York and his staff are friendly as well ,yes top marks,Arthur and his hotel, added to our enjoyment of staying in this perfect interesting city to, of YORK, We stayed mid October 2025 G&T from Brighton way.
