A friendly and personal staff. A good sleep!

Some hickups with the preparation of the room, but nothing so serious. The free parking in the courtyard is a nice plus ... but it's a tight fit.

"Good place to stay for a short trip & with free parking."

The room was a bit small with tight space around the bed and is an old building facility but comfortable for a short stay if on a budget and looking for a free parking on property. The owner Mr. Arther is an amazing person and took personal interest to make our stay comfortable and very friendly. The room was with free breakfast which puts another special touch to the stay at this place. The rooms were clean as the toilets too. The full English breakfast was awesome. Definitely recommend for people on budget & free parking & breakfast!

The rooms are super compact for the furniture in it. There is no lift so heavy luggage owners be ready to climb a stair up.

Spacious room, clean bathroom, great breakfast. A very friendly hotel. The location is great and only a short walk into town centre. My daughter and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in York. The hotel is great value for money.
