Breakfast room and bed very good

Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, was nice that you could leave your car at the band b after checking out.

The room was freezing cold no heating, also booked a double room, but when we arrived we got put in a family room, which we didn't like, especially considering that was what we never wanted, seemed like some one else had our room, we booked a few weeks in advance. The shower was awful , the water was very low pressure, and it kept going cold.

The room was lovely and comfortable.

I liked everything.

Only stayed the one night whilst attending a concert but worth remembering for future visits to York. Friendly staff and comfortable facilities plus a very reasonable price.

It's a nice 15 minute walk along the river front to the city centre,but wouldn't recommend it after dark or during muddy seasons. The only real alternative option is a £10 taxi
