Jig Gyas Guest House

The staff were extremely polite. We were a group of four and had stayed at Jig gyas during our trip to Leh. The climate was very cold and the temperature was around -4 in the night. We were provided with two blankets and a hot pack each. The staff mentioned that we will never let you sleep uncomfortable and they did ensure we were warm throughout. They also provided a portable heater. The way they take care of their guests is greatly appreciated. Additionally, the hot water supply is very good compared to other guest houses. When we had to get ready a bit early to start our day, they even provided a heating rod as a back up in case the hot water was warm/cold. Next, the food was good. As soon as you are in, they treat you with welcome coffee/tea (free of cost) and provide with hot water in a big flask. They keep refilling this often. Even before you ask for something, it's already provided. I would recommend this place to all. We would love to come back!

Very centrally located property , walking distance from leh market. Frndly staff and owner Worth visiting

Food and hospitality was superb so was the behavior of the staff. Hot water was made available whenever asked.owner helped us to make further itinerary by arranging well behaved cab driver.

Outside view is bit restricted,

Clean rooms, simple homely food, super helpful staff along with proximity (5 min walk) to the main market made our stay really convenient. The owner of the property was really helpful and gave us suggestions and contacts (cab, bike rental, hotels in other locations etc) for further planning our trip from Leh. I would recommend this easily to my friends and family!

Great location, close to the Market. Nice and cosy garden, where you can relax, quiet street during the night. Easy access to shops and historical sights.
