Palolem Cottages

Nice large clean room with a large bed. Free wifi. Great location, close to beach and to small shops and restaurants in the village. Nice balcony terrace to sit outside on and relax. Nikhil at reception was friendly and helped with enquiries when the reception was open. It was a great price for the stay and was not sure it was going to be that nice, but it was nicer and cleaner than I expected. I would stay here again.

the hotel does not accept card payments, only cash but the booking said that card payments were accepted. there is a bar in the street next to the hotel which plays loud music until about midnight, and people chatting until 0100. As this was right next to the room you could hear everything and it was hard to sleep until they had quietened down.

Good for the cheap price. Expectations were low.

Not much at all.

It’s wasn’t clean. The electrics were dangerous. The wall switch was popping & smoking. We only stayed 3 nights & moved different accommodation. The owner insisted we still had to pay! They also wouldn’t take card payments.

Amazing location, in that it was so close to the beach. Very clean, comfortable bed, hot water (just switch the switch to get it). Nice large room with good AC and fan. The most amazing beach - I didn't want to leave. Loads of restaurants and bars around.
