I really appreciated the location which allows you to be quiet in the evening, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Breakfast was incredibly good and the view was magnificent.

Určitě je skvělé na Elephantine Island mít pokoj s vlastní koupelnou. Ubytování je na dobrém místě,kousek od přívozu i některých kaváren či restaurací. Nedaleko najdete i lidi ochotné vás svézt po Nilu kamkoli. Ocenil jsem taky balkon ma pokoji.

Ubytování trpí nešvarem celého Egypta,kdy slovo Royal v názvu je velice přehnané. Celá oblast Elephantine Island je sice vzletně nazývaná jako núbijská vesnice, ale místo nějaké romantiky si prostě představte totálně chudou čtvrť s mnoha rozpadlými domy a odpadky všude okolo. Není to vina ubytování - v Kosh royal se snaží, jak to jde (a je to dobře!) Ale nemůžu bohužel takové ubytování ohodnotit stejně jako jiné hotely na podobné cenové úrovni třeba v Káhiře. Přeju jim,ať se postupem času celá oblast i ubytování ještě zvedne,ale vše je to v hlavách. Jinak ohledně atmosféry je nejvíc rušivý velkohotel Movenpick v sousedství. P.S.: Toto píšu hlavně proto,aby sem nejezdili turisti typu "panička se svými třemi kufry a nosičem", které jsem tu potkal a které jsou pak nepříjemně překvapené :D.

The host was amazing, and even provided a breakfast for our early departure to abu simbel. Nice rooftop terrace to enjoy the peace on elaphantine island.

Room was a bit small and no en-suite bathroom

The only thing I liked is that the beds & linen were clean.

The access to this property is very bad and difficult if you have heavy bags. It is on the other side of the river so taxis cannot drop / pick you and you have to depend on boats. There is no prompt service provided by the property if you need help with the bags, drinking water or any tour bookings - we had to wait for 40 mins at the ferry point for getting picked up. Their restaurant prices are too high for the location and food they serve. The breakfast they provided was also less in quantity. They introduced us to a crook boat owner named Osama who extracted a lot of money from us for the boat ride. There are many better places in Aswan to enjoy your stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY TO RUIN YOUR EXPERIENCE!!!
