Kosh royal house

Kosh Royal is a nice, comfortable hotel for the budget traveler. Jamal, the owner, was easy to communicate with, friendly and cooks a nice breakfast. You eat breakfast on the roof top patio with great views

Elephantine Island is a small island with lots of dirt paths going every which way. It is easy to get lost trying to find your way around. The locals are helpful in helping you find your way.

The breakfast was incredible. The Host and everybody else was extremely friendly and offered us an authentic experience.

The location was great and the owners/property managers were lovely and very welcoming.

No en suite bathroom (wasn’t clear in details about room), we were woken in the night a few times by people in the roof area above our room who were quieter when we went to speak to them.

Great location! Beautiful location and view from the roof. Nearby cafe and an easy walk from the ferry (once you figured out where the place was). Breakfast was excellent and very filling. Mr. Jamal had great recommendations on places to go and offered assistance. I had dinner at the guest house one night and it was really tasty. Highly recommend!

A little hard to find at first. The sign is painted on the top of the building so I walked by it at first. And it was chilly in the room in February - but with an extra blanket to snuggle under it was perfect!

the bathroom was a shared bathroom, not private as advertised. it was clean and lots of hot water so wasnt really an issue.

Jamaal and Fatimah were wonderful!!! They had breakfast for us every morning, including two mornings when we left early, they provided a boxed breakfast for us to take. Everything was very clean! Jamaal graciously made two calls for us to arrange early ferry and taxi rides so we could get to the airport early.
