Udai Haveli Guest House

I felt very welcome at this place. It’s in a crowded area, but it has still a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom. For me, I had everything that I needed and it was clean. As soon as you get out of the door, you can walk easily to the lake, the bridges, ghats or to the local market area. I really loved it. The owner and his family are very kind, friendly and helpful.

Very good for the price. Great location, ideal to visit by walk. Close to shops and main spots. The atmosphere of the house is really nice.

The property is 10 min away from Pichola lake, this is the only plus point of this guest house. The hotel owner is super lazy, if you ask for anything, his attitude was 'why are you asking me'. They do not maintain the room properly, the door was almost broken, proper light was not available, rooms were not clean.

The hotel was clean and very well run, but also friendly and laid back. Vicki the host was always available to answer questions, advise and share local knowledge or just to chat. Our room was light and airy, a real home away from home. Also plenty of outside areas for sitting and relaxing.

Noise from dogs at night in the street below, but otherwise not too noisy for the area.
