My stay at Rock Castle Residency, although brief, was a real joy. Such a great location, super friendly and helpful staff, everything just right... The hotel that has all the facilities but is small enough to be peaceful and intimate. The food is simple but excellent, I loved it and will certainly return if the chance arises.

The hotel was immaculately clean, comfortable, and well-located in a village within walking distance of Leh Market. The owner, Gonbo, was incredibly hospitable, from offering fresh mint tea when mint was harvested in the garden to making a bonfire at night. With many years of experience as a travel guide, he arranged our inner line permits and drivers and offered valuable advice about local places and food. The balcony from the room had a great view of the castle, Shanti Stupa, the garden, and the mountains. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location. Very friendly & caring host. Nice friendly staff. Hotel has its own farm of vegetables ensuring fresh food!

Wifi is weak & many times not available in room.

Nice location out of Leh centre, but with views to Namgyal Monastery. Walking distance to Main Bazaar in Leh centre, large and very clean rooms, garden available, hot shower, breakfast included. And very kind and helpful owner - Mr. Gonba, helps me to arrange Protected Area Permit, taxi transports, etc. It is possible to take a dinner or lunch directly in accomodation. The rooms with balcony are perfect - plenty of space and great relax sitting on balcony with views to Monastery.

Everything was OK.
