The place was poorly kept
GBWe had heard that the accommodation in the town was really bad but we were really pleasantly surprised. Big room. Really clean and good location. Bed quite comfortable.
We had one of the rooms on the road so it was quite loud. If you are not planning on waking up for the 3am pick-up for the viewpoint, you will be awoken anyway by hundreds of jeeps and bikes going past the room. The rooms at back would probably be quieter but I don’t know whether they are of the same quality.

GBIt was so easy to walk to bromo without having to use the tours. The bed was comfy enough. Very basic but good for a night for the price
The bathroom has no lock on and you are sharing with another room.

IEI don’t like it when you need to ask for what you’ve already paid. we checked in and we were shown a dirty room with a shared toilet when we had booked a private room. only after mentioning it we were eventually moved to what we booked. hot shower water came out… eventually
