Magnificent view from the room and the restaurant area!! Superb hospitality, very well behaved staffs, good English breakfast- comes with plates of fresh fruits, hoppers, breads, jam, butter, egg and tea.

The hotel is located at the top hence going there with car is a problem. However they provide tuktuk trips back and forth to the main road and it was complimentary for me.

STUNNING view from high up in the mountains. The best sun rise I've ever seen. And the kindest hosts! We absolutely loved our stay at Gold View and didn't want to leave. The hosts were so warm and made it feel like our home. They were so helpful and accommodating with everything - the sweetest souls (I still miss them)! As a bonus there's some lovely dogs that hang out on the terrace and the breakfast is delicious and generous.

The only thing that disappointed us was that our room didn't have a balcony, and when I booked I believed it did because the pictures of the room show the beautiful view. We were disappointed but quickly realised we could enjoy the view from the terrace and it felt like part of our home so it was almost as good! It's high up in the mountains so you have to get TukTuks to anywhere you want to go and the drive can be a bit nerve-wracking but worth it every time! :D There are a few good restaurants within walking distance too.

The best view in town! If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, away from the busy centre and surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. Make sure you wake up early to watch the sunrise — it’s absolutely beautiful. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, which made the stay even more special. It’s a bit of a climb and slightly out of town, but it’s completely worth it for the views and the tranquillity.
