Nothing it was great. A bit far from the station but manageable.

The location and views were spectacular! The large bay bedroom window looks directly across the beach and marina. It was close enough for a leisurely stroll to the downtown Oban restaurants and stores but far enough to be away from the noise. The Rooms themselves were large and very comfortable. Well stocked with coffee, tea and snacks. Everything was clean and neat. There was a very nice place to sit out front on the porch with chairs and a glass wall to block the wind. The wonderful hosts, Paula and Iona checked in on us daily to see if we needed anything. We definitely would come back. It was absolutely amazing. The rooms were beautiful.

The dark blue towels in the bathroom needed to be washed a few times. They left blue lint everywhere even on us. Otherwise everything was great!

Everything was perfect

My daughter and i are on our 3rd visit to McKays and as per usual the stay was exceptional from the spacious room, view, the breakfast goodies, and the cleanliness was 1st class. IONA and her daughters do a fantastic job to make your stay memorable. Roll on next year!! Oban is magical and beautiful and inspires you to return again and again and staying at Mckays makes it an easy choice.

I've been here before and it's still the best accommodation in Oban I've had the pleasure to experience.

Nothing not to like.

Great sized room and bathroom with an incredible view!!! A short walk from the main piers but away from the hustle and bustle. Onsite parking was nice. Loads of snacks since there was no prepared breakfast. Staff was very sweet and attentive.

Nothing. Our stay was lovely!

Beautiful property looking out onto the water which made for stunning views! The room was very large with everything you could possibly need. The hosts provided a snack bag each morning for breakfast and some lovely complimentary items which really set the mood. Overall, a solid 10 out of 10

The porridge and fresh fruit in the hallway provided the ideal breakfast for us. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the overall cleanliness was excellent.

It would have been nice to have a seaview but our room was lovely.
