Comfortable beds, nice view. Helpful staff.

The property had reliable heat and hot water. Staff was friendly. Appreciated having small snacks and drinks available for purchase to avoid leaving at night.

There was excessive noise almost all day and late into the evening. We heard noise from the building next door, and dogs staying on site due to windows not being sealed well. We understand it’s an older building and that is why we still have it higher ratings.

Really not much

Staff (basically one woman) is not attentive, speaks only Spanish and she wasn't always there. We took this hostel to get a little upgrade from regular hostels in the area, and it's more expensive. In reality except for the 'fancy' furniture nothing was nice. The bed sheets and towels weren't clean, a request for an extra towel was answered with a no (there were no hand towel and no place to hang wet towels). The shower was horrible, no hot water unless the stream was minimal, and then still not always got. We got electricied by the handles... Very bad experience. During the day there the toilet stopped flushing (we didn't clung it, the button just got stuck). The solution from the hostel was to use the toilet in the lobby. And of course, toilet paper was a hard to get service. We left in a really bad mood:(

The room was nice and warm . The host is extremely helpful and so friendly. Struggled with the shower and she helped us immediately. She was also up at a very late time to make sure everyone is okay.

Casa Del Escultor really is a great place with caring owner. I was welcomed really well, room was very clean and big enough. Wi Fi connection worked perfectly and it's located 10min walk from Cusco centre. Recommend!

This is my favorite place to stay in Cusco. Location is great, not in the busy noisy center but at the same time very close to it. San Pedro market and Plaza San Francisco is very close. Old city is within walking distance 15 minutes. On a quiet street, no noise in the morning from others, can sleep very good. The host of this Casa is a very kind and friendly woman, I liked interacting with her even though my Spanish is very limited. The room is big and spacious, great view at the city and mountains from the window. Bed is big and cosy, big bathroom with hot shower. Cleaning and changing towels almost everyday. Breakfast is additional and cost 10 soles. Overall I loved my stay there because of quality and good atmosphere. It felt like my own home, very cosy and comfortable.

I did not like it.

Cold water in shower, cold room at night, noise from street. Main doors are closed, you have to wait for someone to open them.. Very heavy sheet on the bed.

Not a lot of people there so don’t think some services were open ie breakfast, bar etc. The owners were incredibly nice but a bit of a language barrier. There was also someone practicing their singing from 8am every morning which was quite loud. would highly recommend though.
