Hi there , I have a lot of issues with Kacu Inn Ubud. Unlike the descriptions, the accommodation was completely terrible. The moment we step into our room, there was a strong foul odour , the sheets that have been allegedly washed and newly fitted have blood like stains and mouldy spots. The towels provided were very worn out and even the new ones after a few days , were still bad and worn out.The bed was uncomfortable and underneath it was plenty of dust and grime that have been left unswept. The washroom ceiling was mouldy and smelled very bad. The walls as well in the washroom was in similar mouldy conditions. The toilets’ bidet was broken as well. The condition of the toilet was run down and unsanitary. We had no choice as we were staying for 13 days and we had already made payment.

I’m so sorry to say that, but I truly don’t recommend it - we tried to contact them by calling, messaging on WhatsApp, Booking.com, traditionally for 2 weeks and no one answered. When we arrived our room was not cleaned at all so we asked to clean it. Even after cleaning there were big disgusting stains on bed sheets, spider webs in the sink. We had to leave… but the location is great and staff was pretty nice so if you have 0 standards of hygiene, go for it.

Great position. Nice typical building with an amazing entrance/garden with the family temple. The host has been very friendly.

Very dirty room, the bed sheets were yellow ( they were supposed to be white) with stains, the pillows were smelling of human umpets. I did ask to change them. I got one changed in both beds, not the duvets and pillow sheets (we slept without pillow and covers). The conditioner was old and very noisy. The shower and sink were half blocked. So the water was taking a lot of time to go away. Bad smell from the toilet.

For the price we paid (130k/night), it was quite exceptional. The place is very central to Ubud main streets. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom decent,. Even though I never saw the manager or any member of the staff we managed everything by phone. It all went great.

The rooms were not super clean especially under the beds, but for this price I was expecting an immaculate room. For this budget, it was great.

no soap in the bathroom, staff wasn’t around much, room wasn’t super nice but for the price it worked

Great position, super central but quiet. Price is supercheap AC worked good and hot water

stained sheets, the door doesn't seal well and you can hear noises, The bathroom smells like sewer The receptionist was not always there but answered to the phone call

Location was perfect to do everything in Ubud

Need to get more attention in cleanliness

Staff was lovely knew me by name very polite and helpful made my stay very pleasant
