this is a lovely place to stay. the vibe is great and the staff wonderful. I had a room that overlooked a mini jungle with squirrels, birds, frogs, bats and I even saw a firefly. definitely recommend this place

Be careful about the room options. Rooms on the ground floor and above have nice view and is spacious. The breakfast is simple and delicious. Staff is kind and they clean the room every day.

However, I lived 3 nights in the underground room( it is the actual ground floor but you need to go down stairs ) The room is close to a filthy river, very humid) The bathroom is smelly. The bedding is very dirty inside, though it has clean cover. It is a 200 m walk to the street coz the taxi can not enter the alley.

Friendly staff, daily cleaning, delicious breakfast (includes fresh fruit, choice of eggs+toast or pancakes, coffee/tea/juice, spreads). My room was very clean and bright, with beautiful views of nature by the stream. I got to see some wildlife roaming around. Calm and quiet area, only 5 minute walk to the main road.

Nothing. Will happily return.

- Quiet. No road noise. You will hear more birds and geckos than motorcycles or voices. And there is the view that goes with that (our door faced south). A relief, after nearly a week in Ubud in other guesthouses, where time seemed dominated by ridiculous levels of noise and mold smells, as if in a repeating bad dream. Location is a 10-15m walk to the center. Good balance. Closer to center=noisier. - Bed is very comfortable. And an air conditioner as well as a ceiling fan in the room. - Good vibrations. It is run by joyful and helpful people. We found the lady considerate of our (and other’s) wishes, and thereby, for us, embodied the purpose of hospitality. As in: she checked & anticipated what might be desired. A nice touch was that she left a hot water bottle in the room to make tea/coffee. Considerate, and appreciated. - Breakfast is good. It is exactly as you expect from other places, like, banana pancake/some egg variation with a tea/coffee. But then a bit better than you had before. Well, the orange “juice” maybe not, but OK, not a big deal. Oranges might not actually exist on Bali. - Oh and wifi signal is good. Because there is a wifi-signal repeater next to the door. You see? Owners that understand hospitality. Small investment, years of benefit.

The bungalow showed some signs of aging but nothing that causes discomfort.

The location was fantastic being close to many shops, cafes and bars. It was a beautiful rustic and authentic setting with an open air living area. Wake up to incredible sunrise views over the lush green bush. Very spacious room and comfy beds. Friendly host and quiet location.

Be prepared to walk 5 mins with your luggage as the street is very narrow like many are. We couldn't get the hot water to work so only had cold showers. The fridge and aircon in the bedroom were noisy making it hard to sleep.
