Blu Mango

Cute and cosy room, great view to the jungle and a Lil river below. Close to cafés and everything, but very quiet. Kitchen not really inviting to be used, kinda neglected. Room moldy in rainy season.

Lots of mold growing on the wall. Also the kitchen was very dirty, cups and plates dusty, sink dirty, sponge old, looked like not in use since a while. Also slight lack of privacy, as staff is coming past the room three times in the morning to place incense and offerings on the veranda, which is uncomfortable if you step out in pyjama's to enjoy the view and someone is passing by a few times, which I wouldn't expect at that time. Also incense smell comes in the room from tjos offerings and 3 incense burning at the same time for the river, right in front of the room. I love offerings, but not if they invade the private space.

Room was super clean, bed was comfortable, water pressure from the shower was very strong with hot water. Hosts were lovely and very kind and welcoming. It’s in a quiet area considering the location. I had a great nights sleep here!

The room had everything I needed for my first trip to Bali! Breakfast every morning, a fridge in the common area for cold items, a kitchen with cooking materials, the cutest cats roaming around, a great location in Ubud with a walk or short ride to just about anything. It is tucked away so you have to walk from the road, but this honestly helped a ton with city noise. It was very quiet and peaceful. The view was amazing (stayed in 1 with the garden view), love the lush greenery all over the property. Breakfast was delicious! I decided to eat mostly in the common area since the monkey forest is close and they love to steal your food. They use instant coffee, which I love, but there are plenty of cafes close by in case you don't! Everyone was very nice and even helped me figure out a shop to find a specific type of baseball jacket for a wishing tree Christmas present. Daily cleaning and resetting of the coffee cup for the in-room coffee. Pro tip: close the bathroom door to help the a/c circulate only in the room, keeps out a lot of the humidity!

The Wi-Fi was not the best (although that helped enjoy the view more than being online) and went out right before I left, but they called the company to get it reconfigured.

Great place to stay in Ubud for great price. Comfy bed, beautiful view, nice terrace.

The location

The place is within walking distance of the center of Ubud (15–20 minutes). It is very quiet (only sounds of nature). They also serve a nice little breakfast in the morning. My room was clean and had a forest view.

There's nothing to complain about. That was a great deal for that price.
