Old Dutch House

This was a great location for one night in Galle. The hosts are lovely and arranged travel to and from the accommodation for me and were very helpful with questions. The room was basic but comfortable for a one night stay.

The place could do with a little updating.

町の中心にあり何処に行くにも便利でした。

2つのベッドをとお願いしていたのに、簡易のベッド直ぐ入れてくれたけど、蚊帳もなく虫が心配でした。OKしたのに守られていない。朝食は別料金でしたが、あまり良いとは言えない。

The property was great for one night. It’s a little expensive for what it is. It’s pretty old and could do with some updating. However it was a pleasant stay :)

Petit déjeuner continental copieux. (café, toasts, beurre, confiture, fruits, oeuf...) servi à l'heure demandée (7h30). Wifi performant, AC, ventilateur, prises électriques OK. Pas de moustiques grâce à la ventilation. Vieux bâtiment historique typique. Excellent emplacement pour arpenter la totalité de la vielle ville old Galle. Proximité gare de chemin de fer (5 mn en tuk tuk).

La chambre n'ayant pas de fenêtre (simple vasistas) éclairage électrique nécessaire dans la journée. Mais cela est dû à la conception originelle du bâtiment datant de l'époque Hollandaise.

Location

The tiny room and bathroom . For the same money we had bigger and better room in Ella (downtown area as well).
